Reviews of "The Seven Days of My Creation: Tales of magic, sex and gender"
This book has not yet been commerically released - or sent out to reviewers. The author, Janine Roberts (writing as Janine Farrell-Roberts, using her birth "surname") had it privately published as she wrote it at a tough period of her life. It was time she thought to write a memoire, to conquer her fear of social rejection if she did so, and thus for her it was a real challange. It is however, she feels, her best and most deeply personal of her works.
It is however now available to the pulbic from www.amazon.com - and from amazon.co.uk
The reviews below are those currently on the Amazon website - where it has a 5 star ranking.

STRANGER THAN FICTION, January 23, 2004
Reviewer: fenwitch from London United Kingdom What a life Janine Farrell-Roberts
has lead!
Assigned to the male gender at birth; excommunicated from the Catholic priesthood
for marrying; fathering daughters; championing the rights of aboriginal people
as an investigative journalist; leaving a Christian monastery to shift her
devotion to a pagan goddess of witches; reassigning her gender; protesting
to save ancient woodland. Truth is indeed stranger than fiction.
Robust scholarship runs throughout this passionate and honest
autobiography. Farrell-Roberts has delved deep into spiritual philosophy,
science and history to put her unique experience of life into context. Hers
is a strong voice that both challenges and touches the heart. ==================================================================
Moving....Affecting, August 9, 2003
Reviewer: Kate from Lincolnshire United Kingdom Jani has written her story
with bare boned honesty. I fell in to her footsteps and was moved by her words
as she recounts her very own life journey. Deeply personal, incredibly brave.
Her words touched me, I felt so much that she was sat beside me as I turned
the pages of her wonderfull life. Please do not buy this book if you intend
to approach it with a logical analytical mind. This book is a beautifull story
of love, courage and strength peppered with gentle humour.

Brilliant, uplifting, inspirational autobioraphy!, February 13, 2003
Reviewer: Suzanne Read from Manchester, Uk Janine's story is one of personal
courage, conviction, sacrifice and triumph as she journeys from Catholic Priest
to Witchdom and from Fatherhood to her rebirth as the woman she was born to
be.
Exceptionally well written, with many references for students of the occult
and those with gender identity problems. Covering her personal journey into
the Catholic Priesthood, excommunication and marriage, her family life and
work for indigenous peoples the world over, her stands against beurocracy
and exploitation of tribal peoples and minors, her coming to terms with being
born Transsexual and finding her way to womanhood and life as a Witch and
Priestess. Janine's story is both fascinating and moving, and her drive to
continue to do as she felt called to, producing programmes for both the BBC
and ITV the world over, writing to highlight the plight of others, campaigning
to save the Earth are both uplifting and inspirational!
Definitely a must read book!
